Career Exploration Workshop
Are you still wondering if you want to be a doctor, lawyer, cowboy or ballerina? The Career Exploration Workshop can help you decide what career you would like to pursure, the suitability of a particular career and the steps to take to get you there.The Career Exploration Workshop gives you the tools to:
- Do a self assessment, which includes: Values, skills, attributes/strengths, and interests/hobbies
- Do a work assessment, which inludes: Your last three jobs (if applicable) and the work activities you enjoy; Work preference, workactivities, occupational interests, work/volunteer experience
- Research careers with Career Cruising and Manitoba Job Futures
- Assess the suitablity of a career
- Develop a strategic action plan
- Identify and find solutions to potential stumbling blocks
